Crystalization

The most commonly used crystallizer types in crystallization processes are DTB, Forced Circulation and Oslo Type crystallizers.

The design of a crystallizer with a known production flow of the type suitable for the process is carried out by first determining its active volume (residence time) and then its interior design, dimensions and auxiliary parts.

ASOS determines the most suitable technologies according to the process needs of Crystallization Facilities.

When determining the type of crystallizer, the product specifications and factors that provide economic production are given below;

  • Product size
  • Product quality (purity and other important physical properties)
  • Process energy economics
  • Establishing mass and heat balances,
  • Determining the waiting time that allows the product to be obtained according to the desired specifications,
  • Determination of crystallizer dimensions according to design criteria,
  • Calculation of heat transfer surface and circulation rate.

ASOS; offers the following Crystallization Technologies to its customers according to the needs of the industries:

  • Forced Circulation (MSMPR) Crystallizers.
  • Draft Tube Baffle (DTB) Crystallizers.
  • Oslo Type Continuous Vacuum Crystallizers.
